TechSelectAI prioritizes industry-specific and operational software where selection depends on detailed capability questions, architecture, integration, deployment, compliance and real operating workflows.
Catalog breadth is not treated as the goal. A smaller evidence-backed category with the right buyer criteria is preferred over a large generic list built around popularity or review volume.

Who operates TechSelectAI
TechSelectAI is operated by Barmageyat. Barmageyat may also develop technology products that appear in the TechSelectAI catalog, including CardIQ Identity and ManpowerIQ.
Ownership is disclosed separately from scoring. A Barmageyat-owned product is evaluated using the same methodology and evidence requirements as other products.
How recommendations work
The consultation captures the business problem, requirements, constraints, deployment preferences, integrations and other relevant context. For curated specialized categories, TechSelectAI applies deterministic scoring across factors such as functional fit, must-have requirements, integrations, security and compliance, deployment, commercial fit, regional fit and implementation fit.
AI can help structure the buyer's requirements and explain the result, but it does not secretly assign or alter the final curated ranking.
Evidence standards
Product claims are stored with explicit support states and confidence. TechSelectAI distinguishes supported, conditional, partially supported, add-on, third-party, not-yet-verified and not-supported states instead of forcing every claim into yes/no.
Unknown ≠ Not Supported. Missing evidence is not treated as proof that a capability does not exist, and unverified claims are not presented as verified facts.

Sponsorship & commercial disclosure
Sponsored or featured placements are labeled and technically separated from recommendation scoring. A sponsored placement does not increase a product's Fit Score, evidence confidence or ranked position.
CardIQ Identity contextual promotion, for example, is only shown where relevant and is kept outside the ranked recommendation list. If CardIQ Identity is already organically ranked first, the sponsored recommendation placement is suppressed.
Reviews, privacy & buyer protection
First-party reviews are moderated and can carry verification levels such as email, business-domain, proof-of-use and admin verification. Review rewards, when offered, are for completing an honest verified review and are not tied to positive sentiment.
Buyer analytics are designed to use minimized structured signals rather than exposing private consultation text in reporting dashboards.
General advisory vs curated scoring
TechSelectAI can still help when a topic is not yet fully represented in the curated catalog. In that case it operates as a general technology consultant and does not fabricate TechSelectAI Fit Scores, evidence confidence, pricing, compliance status or curated rankings.
As the catalog expands, more topics can move into the fully curated evidence-backed mode.
What we do not claim
TechSelectAI does not claim that every vendor, feature, price or market condition is permanently verified. Software changes frequently. Evidence status and verification dates matter.
We also do not present sponsorship, ownership or commercial relationships as editorial independence. Instead, we disclose them and keep those relationships structurally separate from recommendation scoring.
